With the holiday season unfolding, the residents at Beaver Lake Lodge are already in the spirit after dressing their apartment doors for the occasion. As part of a make your own Christmas swag activity, these residents got creative and added some festive flair to their homes.

And we do mean homes. Unlike other assisted living facilities, the team at As Life Goes On is committed to nurturing an environment where every resident truly feels at home. We believe in boutique style assisted living and are dedicated to our mission of “helping folks simply live better.”

Perhaps one of our resident’s daughters says it best: “When my mother first visited Beaver Lake Lodge Assisted Living, her comment after completing the tour was “I feel at home.” This feeling stayed with her for her entire stay at this amazing place. Upon her arrival at the facility several staff members warmly greeted her, making sure she was comfortable, and mentioning what was on the schedule for the day. Our family was very fortunate to have witnessed the interaction between our mother and the talented, deeply caring, compassionate, dedicated staff. Their professionalism and friendships they showed my mother while she lived at Beaver Lake Lodge put our minds at ease. She truly was part of an extended family that made her feel at home. I am unequivocally recommending that this is a place you’ll want your family member to reside, as you will not find a better place. This is home.”

Beaver Lake and its fun-loving residents represent just one of our five locations, conveniently situated around southern New Hampshire.

Currently serving 100 families around the Granite State, we’re delighted to report that we are growing yet again, ready to open the doors to our new Gordon House Assisted Living Residence in Merrimack, NH next year. It’s right around the corner and we couldn’t be happier by the chance to enhance the lives of individuals, families, and caregivers in our community.

Speaking of caregivers, be sure to check out our Holiday Survival Guide for Caregivers: How to Manage Stress and Find Joy this Season. As much as we dedicate our efforts to caring for our residents, we also understand how demanding caregiving can be, which is why we routinely post helpful articles and supportive resources on our blog.
